The Regional Indigenous Patient Navigator supports navigation of patients and families in the cancer system who identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis by either clinician or self-referral. This includes:
- Supporting patients at clinic visits (attends with patient/family)
- Accessing and provide spiritual and community supports
- Assistance with applications for financial and transportation services

Ontario Health’s Indigenous Relationship and Cultural Awareness courses have undergone a refresh including updated content and a more interactive look and feel.
- This free program has been certified by the College of Family Physicians of Canada
- Earn up to 19.5 Mainpro+ credits
- All courses are self-paced learning modules, allowing you to stop and start at any time
- Includes 500 years of history in bite-sized chunks of information and provides knowledge about First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban Indigenous peoples
