Drum Honouring Ceremonies
Over 2021 and 2022, the Toronto Central Regional Indigenous Cancer Program (TCR-ICP) team gifted regional care site partners a ceremonial drum that First Nations, Inuit and Métis patients and families can use for ceremonies or spiritual practices during their care. This is a significant and symbolic gift, recognizing the ongoing work and commitment to build relationships and improve the care and experience of Indigenous staff and community members.
